At Home with Plant People
✔️ We're Officially a B Corp
We are proud to join a global community committed to using business as a force of good.
As a B Corp, we believe:
- That we must be the change we seek in the world.
- That all business ought to be conducted as if people and place mattered.
- That, through our products, practices, and profits, we should aspire to do no harm and benefit all.
- To do so requires that we act with the understanding that we are each dependent upon another and thus responsible for each other and future generations.
What is a B Corp? |
Being a B Corp is about a company’s overall positive impact, balancing profit with purpose. |
How did Plant People become a B Corp? |
We were assessed and audited to ensure our business practices met the highest standards of social and environmental performance, accountability and transparency. |
Weren’t you always a B Corp? |
They say character is what you do when no one’s looking: we’ve always acted like a B Corp by prioritizing environmentally and socially responsible practices, even when we didn’t have the official seal to prove it. |
A few ways that we've brought these concepts to life:
- Tree Planting with American Forests: We plant a tree for every purchase with American Forests. Having planted over 150,000 trees to date, we commit to restoring our natural environments.
- Climate Neutral: We are 100% carbon neutral across our supply chain by measuring and offsetting our goods, production and distribution for a greener world.
- Regenerative and Responsible sourcing: We invest in the health of our soil, the people that tend to it and communities that surround it, resulting in superior quality products that are transparent and ethical.
- Reduce, Reuse, Recycle: Our packaging Forest Stewardship Certified paper material, 75% recycled glass and minimal plastic. Any packaging carrying the Forest Stewardship Certified Seal represents zero deforestation, environmental protection, Indigenous People's rights protection and fair wage and work environments.
